You’re Invited To Our Wine & Cheese Event!

Please Join Us… We are pleased to invite everyone in the Alta Vista and surrounding area to the first ever OGC Wine & Cheese Event taking place on Friday, November 29^th at the Canterbury Community Centre from 7:30–9:00pm. Educating the public is an important part of the OGC mission so we will be presenting information and answering questions on the history of construction and potential environmental concerns affecting the Alta Vista area. We will be specifically addressing potential problems that might arise in the older homes in the area and options for what to do if there is asbestos in your home. Local Ontario-based wines will be served, along with some interesting cheeses and crackers. The event is free, but we hope you will take this opportunity to make a donation to our Habitat for Humanity fundraising campaign. We are happy to support our local affiliate, Habitat NCR, who since 1993 has built 40 houses and completed eight retrofits.
