We are excited to announce that, for the next three years, Ottawa General Contractors LTD will serve as the presenting sponsor for Caneast’s annual Home & Design Show. As a past exhibitor, we found that The Home & Design Show is the perfect venue for sharing our principle mission of providing the best in-class service while meeting the needs of our clients—regardless of project size and budget. Partnering with Caneast to sponsor the show was the natural next step for OGC. As the presenting sponsor, we are afforded the rare opportunity to reach thousands of people in order to increase awareness about topics relating to home renovation.Caneast has been producing high-end consumer shows for more than 25 years and The Home & Design Show since 2007. With more than 150 exhibitors, The Home & Design Show is Ottawa’s largest annual home improvement event. Regarding this new collaboration, OGC owner and CEO Moe Abbas said "We are very excited about our partnership with Caneast Shows and very much look forward to the collaboration that will see positive growth for both organizations."Throughout the three-day show, OGC staff will be presenting on several different topics on the main seminar stage. The purpose of these talks is to assist attendees in understanding more about the diverse options they have for their renovation projects as well as how to select the best contractor. Senior designer Brent Kelly will be speaking on the importance of creating a sound renovation design while OGC project coordinator Brad Balint will be providing tips on how to select the best contractor for a project. Rob Murphy, a mortgage agent for our finance partner, Mortgage Brokers Ottawa, will be sharing information on the various types of renovation specific financial options that are available to customers.OGC will also have an exhibition booth at the show allowing attendees to view 3D render shots and before and after photos of previous renovations. We will be demonstrating our materials selection process, and we will be available to answer questions or set up appointments for renovation estimates. Our main goal for the show is to let people know there is a reliable and responsible contracting company that puts customers and their needs first. The show runs from September 27 through 29 at the Ernst & Young Centre located at 4899 Uplands Drive in Ottawa, ON.
