Whenever we take on a creative home design project, we’re thrilled about the possibilities. We get to use our imaginations while doing what we do best, and the end result is always awesome. Because we love strange, artsy interiors, we’ve assembled a list of some of our favorite picks from around the world. Keep scrolling to see all six of these unconventionally cool rooms.

Pink Chic

Bewype

This mod lounge room is feminine and sleek, with smooth curving lines in its white walls, furniture, lighting, and other architectural accents. Ambient lighting reflects off pink walls at the far end of the room, creating a glowing ambiance of kaleidoscopic colors.

Deep Relaxation

Oddee

This design concept is for an underwater retreat, and we must say, we wish it were real! With the walls and ceiling being glass panels, a full view of the ocean around is there for guests to enjoy. The room’s decorative elements are understated, putting the under-sea view at the center of attention.

Home Nest

OGE Architects

It’s always said that making your home as comfortable as can be is just a matter of nesting, but we never took it quite as literally as this. Nevertheless, this oversized, nest-shaped bed looks like the perfect spot for lounging with the family and even enjoying a midday nap.

Bullseye

Hypnotic is one word to describe this eye-catching interior. Sleek modern furniture takes center stage among a floor and walls decorated with red and silver spirals. The hanging orb lamps mimic the entrancing lines with their hard-edged rims.

Cave Dwelling

If the Flintstones met the Jetsons, we think this is what their home would look like. The walls are molded in such a way that they resemble authentic cave rock, while the modern shapes of the seating and panoramic glass windows give that little touch of futurism.

Leaning Lumber

If you want design that makes a statement, the example above is the way to do it. An installation of hundreds of wood planks on the ceiling makes an exciting space out of what would otherwise be an ordinary meeting room. Because the planks follow flowing lines and are kept high, the eye is drawn upward, creating the illusion of more space.
