Second Storey Addition
A second storey that added two bedrooms and a primary suite, with new siding, a porch and a deck to tie it together.
The project
Inside, the addition holds two new bedrooms and a primary suite with a large walk-in closet and ensuite, plus another bathroom. The kitchen, dining room and laundry were enlarged and updated, and new flooring and paint throughout make the old and new spaces read as one house. New stairs and railings lead to the new floor.
Outside, we replaced the window trim and roofing and re-sided the whole home in a deep blue to tie the new storey to the original. A dormer adds architectural interest and storage, a new pressure-treated porch and entry stairs replaced the old steps, and a side deck over the garage balances the front of the house.
