Modern Organic Kitchen
An entertaining kitchen that pairs contemporary styling with natural wood, without giving up the daylight.
The project
Light grey Shaker cabinets and white quartz counters surround a crafted wood island with side storage, finished with brass accents, fluted pendants, wood floating shelves and a warm white tile backsplash.
The challenge was adding real storage without closing the room in or blocking the light from the windows and doors around its edges. Open floating shelves in place of solid uppers kept the sightlines, and an underused wall became a built-in drinks centre with a wine fridge, coffee station and accent lighting.
The result works as hard for everyday cooking as it does for hosting.
