The project
Demolition exposed the usual surprises in an older house. The plumbing was outdated and was replaced in full, floor joists and subfloor needed repair, and the electrical was brought up to current safety standards.
The original interior door had lead paint and was removed and refinished with the right precautions. The finished room has a patterned tile glass shower, a green vanity and a round mirror, in a layout planned to make the most of the existing space.
